After the release of "THUNDER AND LIGHTNING", which was produced after John Sykes joined the band, the band announced that they would disband after the tour for that album. The UK tour started with a special gig for TV at Hitchin Regal Theatre on January 26, 1983, and about 40 performances were held until the St. Austell performance on March 31.
