1/4 Tintype Two ID'd Mahaffay Sisters Illinois 1860s Union / Thermoplastic Case cadaver I suspect that this tintype1 4 plate tintype in union case, two women identified as Alice and Sophia Mahaffay. Their maiden name was Grange, and they were from Illinois. Alice was born in 1847 and Sophia in 1844. Tintype is in very good condition behind mat and cover glass. The case displays nice but has several areas of cracks and damage, including a serious crack on the photo side, bottom.. that section is still attached but falling off.. can be repaired. 7530f
